Is this and DEE-AII Jan Shatabdi the only case where 'Jan Shatabdi' running b/w end to end stations are actually faster than their Shatabdi counterparts?

Ah yes. It slightly edges the Shatabdi. The latter's stoppage at Raniganj costs it those precious few minutes.

According to some news, NDLS station will be closed for 4 years. So all east bound train will be operated from ANVT. Is there any possibility that 12801/02 will go to Delhi Jn instead of ANVT?. Because I feel that some trains like purushottam, shiv ganga, prayagraj express, Lucknow mail and many other trains like these have high importance and should connect till main delhi instead of anvt.
