the first week of November. While the total number of coaches will remain the same, the number of general coaches will increase, providing more space and comfort for general passengers. This will particularly benefit people traveling long distances to places like Mumbai, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Kolkata, and Bangalore. The increase in general coaches is aimed at making it easier for workers and other ordinary people to travel, especially during the summer holidays and festive seasons when it becomes difficult to get confirmed tickets. The Railway Board will be adding two general coaches to all long-distance trains from November onwards. For example, the Bihar Sampark Kranti Express currently has four general coaches, and this will be increased to six. Additionally, the minimum fare for local trains, which was increased to ₹30 during the COVID-19 pandemic, has been reduced back to ₹10, providing relief to commuters.

Due to non-interlocking work at Samastipur division of East Central Railway, various train routes will be changed between May 5th and 10th.
