I would have suggested the Toofan Mail or Sdah-DLI Express but IR has cancelled those trains. Those are the best trains. Only take twice the time, AC coaches go half empty [simply because all unreserved pax go into the full empty SL coaches ], and are overtaken by every train on that route.
Meanwhile KOAA-ANVT Express be like, "Did you forget how I am?"
On a tangent, I checked the trains on the HWH-NDLS section and boy, the nos. of trains has reduced a lot from when I first checked it more than five years ago. There used to run far more trains back then, including weeklies and super crawlers.
The biggest casualty in the present government has been the HWH-NDLS route.

I think Jallianwala bagh is one of the best train from to Delhi from calcutta! Its faster !

Ye Howrah varanasi ke bich abhi kahan overnight hai?? Is train ko jab via varanasi chalaya gaya tha tab tuk tha par ab na hi koi howrah se varanasi and varanay se dilli is par depend hai.. Isko aise bhi 5 saal pahle via Mirzapur divert kar dena chaiye tha 2-3 hr speed up ho sakta hai.
Hi, My parents will returning from Varanasi, they have ticket from Varanasi Jn to Howrah and want to board from DDU as route will be diverted those days. Is it possible?? Will System automatically change the boarding nearest station or they have to go Railway Counter??

Thanks for your information. But I have tired today online, error shows "link pnr ticket boarding point can't be change, please contact PRS."
oh, so, it can't be. Connected tickets are not allowed this change & vice versa. PRS also won't do it.
