trains passing through Bhopal are consistently delayed by 4 to 5 hours. These delays have resulted in passengers suffering from heat exhaustion, with approximately 60 people falling ill in the last month and a half. Sadly, a female passenger from Uttar Pradesh passed away on the Gorakhpur-Vadodara Express due to illness while travelling between Bina and Vidisha. The railway authorities attribute the delays to the ongoing farmer's protest, third line construction, and the operation of a large number of summer special trains, leading to heavy traffic congestion. They are working to ensure all trains run on time.
