yes WDG-4 can run upto 60 kmph & WDG-3A can run upto 55 kmph...but WDG-4D is said to be higher speed....lets see when it comes to track...what the ground reality is...
sir article ke ander jhaak ke dekhiye....saaf saaf likha huya hain....with goods train,WDG-4 loco can go upto 55-60 kmph....thats the highest limit for goods train in IR even with Electric Loco's too....lets see whether WDG-4 can go upto 100 kmph or not...its not @ all asn easy task to go 100 kmph with 4500 MT load....can cause severe damage to tracks also...

yes passenger coach honge toh WDM-2A bhi 100 kmph tak run kar hi leti hain....WDG-3A toh aaram se karegi....but main utilization of DG series loco is how fast & how single handedly they can haul the load of a goods train...passenger train toh bachho ka kaam hain...
