INDIAN RAILWAY should be completely switched over to the LED system of Lighting in the Coaches and Stations ,Displaying All the Name Board,Coach indication Board, etc so as to save the current consumption , maintenance free and long lasting.
The LED emits very very less ( negligible amount ) heat energy compare to the other lighting systems such as CFL ,Fluorescent tube light and Incandescent Light Bulbs.
In the Lighting System LED systems are efficient around 10 times over the conventional Incandescent bulb ( in tamil Kundu Bulb) .
