Along with fine 1 day to 1 week jail term reduces these ticket-less travel in our IR.All the passenger shall be carried a mandatory clear xerox COPY ID for travel in any class .
The punishment should be made more severe along with fine a jail term is also needed.Further this ticketless travel is increasing in a state in South India is shocking.
This culture comes from the North India.What about the present ticket-less travel stages in North India Increased or Decreased .
1 week jail is too much , Suppose a person keeps his season ticket in his bag and someone snatches his bag in train (which is very prevelant) , at that time if the squad check means ??? Fine can be levied . A person should be jailed if he is repaeatedly commits the same , it can be tracked only with aadhar card.
The season ticket which was last due to theft may traced out from the purchased point and avoid jail term.
