CHENNAI: Travelling by train into the city can be slower than a trip by car on the crowded roads of Chennai during peak hour. Various bottlenecks...
So a TERMINAL STATION in TONDAIYARPET or in ROYAPURAM is highly necessitated for the North Madras peoples convenience and avoid operational bottlenecks to some extent.First these two stations have to be made as Express/SF stoppages for Northern Routes like Mambalam station for the southern routes. .
Tondiarpet is not possible, Even in RPM is doubtful since the loco shed took major part and it will be expanded too
At-least these two stations have to be made as Expresses / SF stoppages for Northern Routes like Mambalam station for the southern routes. .
