Indian Railways has modified rules on identity proof of passengers travelling on tickets issued under its Tatkal Scheme, it was officially announced here on Tuesday.

For Thatkal Travel more than one passenger booking in one ticket ,any one should be produced mandatory original ID and others should be also produced mandatory COLOR clear photocopy of the Prescribed ID .
Then only eliminate the misuse of the Thatkal Booking by the Agents/others and the original passengers booked in the PRS counter at stations shall be benefited by adequate accommodation.
