: वर्तमान में दरभंगा से नई दिल्ली के बीच चलने वाली अप-डाउन ट्रेन व इलाहाबाद से नई दिल्ली के बीच दूरंतो एक्सप्रेस को पुराना स्टेशन से होकर चलाया जा रहा है। ये ट्रेनें सेंट्रल स्टेशन नहीं आती हैं। रेल के उच्चपदस्थ सूत्रों ने बताया इन चारों ट्रेनों का परीक्षण काफी सफल रहा है।

This is a very good news in fact a great idea to decongestant of CNB (Kanpur Central). Generally there are 5 Stations within Kanpur City limits but none of the stations perform as a terminal station beside Kanpur Central. This is lack of planning of Indian Railways or the poor mentality of officer of Kanpur. If Old Kanpur Station is developed as a substitute station for Delhi - Howrah Route then it will be a boon for Kanpur habitats. Other Stations should also be given importance as they can also serve Kanpur in better way.
