Robbers cut open the roof of one of the coaches of a train from Salem to Chennai that was carrying money from the RBI for the...
I think some Railway staff too could be involved in this. Else, how would the robbers get to the top of the coach to cut open the roof, possibly in a station or when the train is stationary?
but it is not clear whether the robbers knew that the currency notes were old/damaged and whether the effort was worth the risk
