It seems that IR itself is not confident about the technical feasibility of the construction of the three elevated corridors. (VR-BCT,CSTM-Kalyan, CSTM-Panvel) Fate of these projects appear similar to the fate of Kurla-CSTM 5th+6th line projects. i.e. going to remain on paper for very long time. It is beyond doubt that these projects are one of the most challenging projects ever taken by IR because there is no space for housing construction machinery at the site and there is more than 1 train (with more than 3500 pax per train during peak hour)... more...
