Not surprising to see another opposition from Kerala. For all other projects they say, they dont have funds hence want railwys to share the burden. And here when a private player is expected to develop the same end to end, the state says they also want to share the cost !!!!

Now state govt wanted cost sharing. previously, the same team was against cost sharing due to which many projects in Kerala got delayed.

Thanks to transparency in tender bidding method adopted under the dynamic leadership of RM, the PPP projects and private sector investment has started flowing in. Swiss Challenge method shall promote the participation of scrupulous and reputed contractors in the IR projects, IR shall be benefited due to free bidding in a transparent manner.

It may be the reason that in-spite of having top place in literacy and education, Kerala is still lagging in industrial development. Thanks to huge remittances from the Keralians abroad & vibrant tourism, the economy is thriving.
