As of now, Pune-Miraj doubling looks OK but doubling of KOP-Miraj appears extravagant. Many more saturated lines require immediate attention.
If the planned KOP-Vaibhavwadi new line generate sufficient traffic, the doubling shall be required. Hence the KOP-Miraj doubling should wait till the KOP-Vaibhavwadi new line project comes into existence
