Had termination been so easy, rail accidents would have never happened in IR in large numbers.
Even the current action is said to be the harshest ever in IR. What more can be expected if the land encroachers are officially as well as unofficially protected and pampered.

One of my good friend's dad is a very high level official in stores department. He used to tell me the stories of how the higher ups deploy track men to do house hold work at their homes. IR is a very corrupt organization, sickened by the trade union activism, though communism is getting eradicated from India, they have a strong hold in railway employees union. Railway need to bring the culture of accountability, they can't simply create some scapegoats and escape.
