Out super intelligent leaders can measure every thing by thumb! Requirements of Mumbai cannot be put at par with that of much smaller cities(12 hectare land for car shed).
The justification of CM appears logical, land has to be acquired for the rated design capacity (55 trains) of the car shed and not just for phase-1.
Previous govt stalled many planned Mumbai Metro projects on one ground or the other. Now they are unable to digest the success achieved by the new govt. in starting most of the struck-up projects...
