* It looks like media have become hyper sensitive to derailments and want to convey a message to the readers/viewers that number of derailments in IR have drastically increased. Even reports of very slow derailments at Rly stations without any injuries and significant damage to rly property, or during shunting etc, most of which were earlier ignored, are being reported with great emphasis.
* Report that it is 5th accident in last 4 weeks, is in fact much lesser than the past trend of about 110-150 accidents per year! Probably media want the Rly accidents to stop altogether, especially with arrival of new RM, which is next to impossible for the highly congested and grossly overworked IR.
