While RMs were busy draining scarce IR resources, laying rail lines to their backyards and operating trains for almost every city therefrom. 93% growth of airtraffic from ST is phenomenal, and a clear shift of paxs from ac rail travel to air. IR is serving ST with a very small & underdeveloped station. AC class paxs have reduced and SL class paxs have increased by about 2000.
