MUMBAI: Suresh Prabhu is no more the railway minister as he moved out 11 months ago to the ministries of commerce & industry and civil aviation and...
Good days of Konkan Railways are getting delayed but are sure to come in future. Following developments shall ensure this:
(1) Doubling of Konkan Railway track- Though there were plans to go for the total stretch of KR, but the proposal has now put in back burner after departure of Mr. Prabhu from Rly ministry. But a modest beginning has been made with construction from Roha end.
(2) 10 new stations are under construction which will add to section capacity and traffic at KR. More new stations are planned for future.
