Giving halts to AC local at all stations beyond Borivali is a great news. Also extending the morning Vasai local to Virar is a big welcome.
Extension of ladies special train to Virar will bring relief to women commuters.
Only request is to give halts to all the Dahanu trains at Nala Sopara since Nala Sopara has emerged as one of the top 3 stations in terms of footfalls in recent years and it deserves halts of all the trains that halt at Virar or Vasai Road.

still believe a lot of relief may be provided to commuters by rescheduling or changing the originating terminating stations of existing locals.
For example, all the Churchgate-Bandra trains should be extended to Andheri. Similar count of trains should be extended from Andheri to Borivali and similar count from Borivali to Virar.
Another suggestion is to abolish the semi fast trains originating from Goregaon station in morning peak hours as these lead to slowing down of all the fast trains coming from Bhayandar-Vasai-Virar.
Now that harbour line has been extended upto Goregaon, these semi fast services can be easily done away with and new trains originating from Virar-Nala Sopara may be started instead. This will give immediate relief to commuters and result in reduction in the number of death on tracks in Borivali-Virar section
