The fare for T18 is like Shatabdi... Earlier Shatabdi was withdrawn and replaced by the current Intercity express...
Could be profitable on CSMT-NGP route. Mumbai-Pune/Mumbai Nasik route travellers have max ST holders, not luxury seekers who drive their own cars or use cabs.
Mumbai Pune Best Suited ..... T18 should be introduced on Routes with Ghat Section CSMT-PUNE CSMT-NK where issue of Bunkers arises ... It's would be most optimal use
They are planning to run T18 style locals! CSMT-PUNE & CSMT-NK is MST/QST class, not luxury, pls understand this. CSMT-PUNE Shatabdi failed and was replaced by intercity, and T18 has fares higher than Shatabdi.
Agreed ...But as told by GM CR within this jurisdiction on 2 Routes he could think of for T18 is Mumbai - Pune and Pune - Secunderabad Shatabdi replacement ... He even ruled out T18 for Mumbai-Nagpur Sector
