There has to be some long term view with regard to various projects. Same issue with SBC-HSRA line. Unless and until doubling happens, they cannot run more suburban services.
Between BYPL and Belandur Raod stations, so many places houses and apartments are close to railway tracks. As and when they decide to do doubling, not going to be an easy task

I remember Hsra line sanctioned for doubling in 2017 or previous budget. It seems till now no progress. Yes this be a big task for railways.
SWR can think of simple solutions. By modifying the back entrance, they can link YPR line to PF 1 to 7 and 8-10 PF to JTJ line. Somehow only complex solutions are available for simple problems. One more example is linking airport with Devanahalli line. We have a great plan to get metro from KR Puram to airport by spending thousands of crores, but 3 km link from Devanahalli line is not possible due to various reasons.
Don't know somehow metro gets more priority than existing rail network for suburban systems. You're right a station near Devanahalli and connecting airport buses will solve problem at great extent, instead of waiting for metro for couple of years.
