When all these politicians say the migrant workers want to return home, they are attempting to use these poor people for their benefits. Actually, opposition parties don't have any love for the poor migrants.
In Maharashtra, all 3 ruling coalition parties have none or negligible presence in regions where these migrants are from. So there is no love or even little humanitarian interest (all expenses paid for by central govt.) in keeping them here. Their only concern is how they could benefit from disruption/disturbance such a move. They probably know it is not a simple task to move 6.5 lakh people. Railways will need at least 200 full rake services to move them. Such a move could be feasible only after lock
