उक्त प्रस्ताव माननीय संसदीय कार्य मंत्री प्रल्हाद जोशी के आग्रह पर दक्षिण पश्चिम रेलवे ने रेलवे बोर्ड को भेजा है। केंद्रीय मंत्री का प्रस्ताव और आग्रह होने के कारण यथावकाश सम्मति भी मिलने की पुरजोर आशा है।
इस राजधानी एक्सप्रेस के कारण मध्य रेल के पुणे मण्डल को पहली और भुसावल मण्डलको एक और राजधानी एक्सप्रेस मिलने की आशा भी बढ़ गयी है।

My proposal:
All rajdhani should connects state capitals to national capital seven days a week, but with 30% different route within the state serving different parts of states.
In fact, BDTS CDG biweekly runs in that route and it is quite fast. It bypasses NDLS NZM and stops at Gurgaon and Delhi Cantt.
This route to be utilised more.
Pune Ahmedabad in 9 hours (Duronto) plus another 9.5 hours to Jaipur and another 3.5 hours to Delhi. Max 21 hours.
YPR SUR via KLBG 11 hours plus 3 hours to Pune.
Total 34-35 hours for Bangalore to Delhi via Pune, Mumbai outskirts, Vadodara Ahmedabad Ajmer Jaipur.
Think of connectivity, it will be excellent.
ADI to NDLS train can cover in 12:30-13 hrs... Right Now SJ Rajdhani arrives 35-40 mins early at Ajmer after got end to end Eloco
If a Premium train get aggressive TT on this route.. That would be very Beneficial for Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat & Rajasthan people & for Railways also
This Ubl-Nzm SF exp proposal will be much better from Ubl and Gdg-Sur section perspective, than Rajdhani, Ksk, etc which comes from state capital.
