Consequently, 45 trains were shifted to other platforms, causing inconvenience. Railway officials assure that the platforms will reopen soon. The structural work is scheduled to be completed by October 30, 2024, with the second phase, including the construction of a nine-story building, taking place from February 1, 2025, to December 2026. A 200-bed RPF barrack is also being built at a cost of ₹14.81 crore. The junction building will be equipped with BMS, be disability-friendly, and adhere to green building standards.

chal raha tha, isliye platform number 9 aur 10 ko band kar diya gaya tha. Dono platforms band hone ki wajah se 45 trains ko dusre platforms pe shift kiya gaya tha, jisse dikkat badh gayi thi. Railway officials ka kehna hai ki dono platforms jaldi khul jayenge. 30 October 2024 tak structure ka main kaam complete hone ki taiyari hai. Dusra phase, jisme nine-story building banani hai, 1 February 2025 se December 2026 tak chala jayega. Junction pe ₹14.81 crore ki lagat se 200 bed wala RPF barrack bhi banaya ja raha hai. Junction ki building BMS se laas, divyang friendly, aur green building hogi.
