The delays are causing overcrowding, with daily commuters squeezing into sleeper and AC compartments of long-distance trains, making travel uncomfortable for legitimate passengers. Over 500 complaints have been filed with the Sonpur Railway Division over the past 10 days, primarily regarding AC and fan malfunction, unauthorized entry, and unsanitary conditions. The overcrowding has even led to some passengers falling ill. The number of complaints has significantly increased from an average of two dozen per day in April.

Yaatriyon ko bataya ja raha hai ki train traffic mein congestion ki wajah se trains late chal rahi hain. Isse trains mein bheed bhi badh rahi hai. Trains ke late chalne ki wajah se daily commuters lambi duri ki trains ke sleeper aur AC bogies mein ghus ja rahe hain. Isse us bogie ke logon ko safar karne mein pareshani ho rahi hai. Bheed itni zyada ho jati hai ki logon ko shouchalay tak jaane mein bhi pasina chhut raha hai. Bataaya jaata hai ki pichhle 10 dino mein Sonpur rail mandal ko 500 se zyada shikayaten aayi hain, jismein sabse zyada AC aur fan band, fir anadhikrit pravesh aur gandagi ki shikayaten hain. Bheed ki wajah se kai yaatriyon ki tabiyat bhi bigdi hai. Bataaya jaata hai ki April mein rojana do darjan tak shikayaten aati thi.
