He should have asked for removal of Pollachi Kinathukadavu (25 kms stretch) from PGT division and merge with SA division. This would enable more trains in MDU CBE Sector. What interest PGT will show to improve connectivity between MDU and CBE?
If Pollachi is with SA division, many new trains can also be introduced. For example to Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad etc with maintenance at POY. Also new trains from CBE to TPJ KIK RMM TEN CAPE via DG can also be introduced.

When they switched from MG to BG, they split DG PTJ - it was part of MDU before. It basically did no one any good. Needs to be fixed pronto.
