Central Railway Enhances Passenger Capacity with Additional General Coaches

Central Railway is adding general coaches to several major train services to increase passenger capacity. The Vidarbha Express (12106/12105) will add 2 general coaches, bringing the total to 4, effective December 8th (from CSMT) and 9th (from Gondia). The Sevagram Express (12140/12139) will add 2 general and 1 sleeper coach, resulting in 4 general and 7 sleeper coaches, effective December 8th (from Nagpur) and 9th (from CSMT). The Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Howrah Express (12101/12102) will add 2 general coaches, bringing the total to 4, effective December 7th (from LTT) and 9th (from Howrah). The Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Howrah Express (12151/12152) will also add 2 general coaches, reaching a total of 4, effective December 11th (from LTT) and 13th (from Howrah). Finally, the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Puri Express (12145/12146) will add 2 general coaches, bringing the total to 4, effective December 15th (from LTT) and 17th (from Howrah).
