The Indian Railways has, for a while, been facing difficulties in cleaning the curtains that cover passenger cubicles of AC Two Tier coaches.

The removal of curtains in 2AC will be bad for passengers. For people who require bit of privacy, this was a good option to travel in 2AC and now this move does not seem good. At the same time do agree to the fact that passengers need to be a bit more responsible and not use curtains to wipe their faces,their hands, and dirty them
i am only thinking how can anyone wipe faces in those curtains...its a move of cost cutting.
I have personally seen some of the people clean their shoes which is quite bad. At the same time some of them having a snack or eatable while sitting in upper berth and quietly wiping their hands. Maybe it might be cost cutting, but overall for people wanting some privacy may not be a good move
