Requested SR that instead of SUVITHA SF for Chennai to Tirunelveli /Earnakulam Special fare expresses may be operated for the benefits of passengers and Railways. The patronage of SUVITHA train is around 55%only.If converted as Special fare expresses patronage shall be 100 % with waitlisting passenger. Railway got more revenue and passenger's also benefitted.By operating SUVITHA, last 40% of fares are not affordable by the passenger and so Railway voluntarily shunted the passenger to the private TOURIST operators .
