Notwithstanding the spate of complaints to the Railway Ministry about the conversion of the Visakhapatnam – Yeshvantpur Tatkal special, operated by the South Western Railway (SWR) on Twitter, into a Suvidha special, the Bhubaneswar-based East Coast Railway (ECoR) seems to be not ‘interested’ in promoting this train, said rail users.
When passengers approached the booking counter at Visakhapatnam on Sunday (Dec 11) to buy tickets for this train to go to Tirupati, the counter clerk declined to give tickets.
The passengers, who were in a hurry to go to Tirupathi, approached an ATVM...

Rail users complained to the Railway Ministry on Twitter that no announcement of this train was being made and there were no boards displayed at the railway station about the availability of this special train. The Waltair Division officials came up with a clarification that manual announcement was being made due to technical problems, the rail users said.
