Thanks for the info broad guage..
But I was not asking for permanent addition of extra coach.
As it is festival time of holi, so only I wanted to know if any extra coach is possible for few days during festival time despite already 24 coacher train.
By the way when is it decided that extra coach has to be added to train? Is...

it depends on the rush, wl and availability of spare coach. but its totally impossible in 24 coachers or else it ll b unsafe for passengers to board/deboard at a place where there is no platform at some of the stations. so no extra coach whatsoever in trains with 24 coaches. look for pnr history. u ll never find an extra coach during any of the festive or holiday rush in this train. even temporary augmentation is not possible in 24 coachers.
Length of the PF's is major prblm for adding additional coaches..more over no additional coaches added 24 coacher trains..

Just for info..can somebody tell me how many extra coaches are added for a non 24 coacher train..lets say train already has 20 coach and wailtlist passengers are 200+ or say 350+..Then is there any coaches added and how many..
Is there any particular criteria of wailtlist passengers which decides no of coaches to be added?
