If ur ticket is confirm you travel without ticket with a valid I'd and TTE will charge only Rs.50 /- per ticket but this rule is for E-ticket dont know about PRS tickets....
Usually TTEs consider even without showing PRS tkt with proper ID. If you can remember your PNR and it gets confirmed do one thing. Have internet facility in your mobile and keep open PNR status of your tkt @ indianrail.gov.in and show to TTE along with ID proof. You will be successful.
Better you go for locking of tkt and in my opinion cancel it....and have other options like tatkal or ny other train.
