It has chances to upgrade even if upgradation option is bot selected , when there is no concession on the ticket..sinc eit is full fare ticket,it can upgrade
Nothing as such AFAIK..Auto Up-gradation is a random process whether you select it or not.

I feel the consent for Auto up-gradation is taken just to know if passenger is OK with it or not,in some cases seen even if availability is there in upper class upgrade is not done and lower class ticket ends up in RAC or WL..

gREAT DAY TODAY, uPGRADED FROM SL TO 3AC, I was doubting that it will stay in WL only but Double Upgradation.
