I heard some NRMU people that they are going to speed up the track from 110 to 120... I am not sure what exactly they were talking about.... Any Ideas , anyone, what that would have meant?? I mean how railways goes about speeding up tracks. I also heard that Moradabad - Chandausi track is 50... I mean those guys never mentioned the units... but thats what my ears captured
Its about MPS(maximum permissible speed) of the route..
Presently the mps of gzb-mb section is 110 Kmph..NR is planning to increase the mps to 120 kmph by removing temporary speed restriction,improving tracks and signalling system..
