Hi members, I am posting this PNR to discuss one peculiar issue I faced today.

I see that originally we had SL birth allotted to us for passanger 1 out of total 6 which were supposed to travel. Passanger 2 was allotted a lower birth.

But...

after cancelling the ticket partially, as the passanger 2 is not travelling, the seats have got changed.

Now passenger 1 has the Lower birth. But Passanger 2 which is now cancelled shows with side lower. How come this is possible.

Anyone knows any reason behind it? Or have experienced something like this?

We badly needed the SL birth since travelling with a new born which will need constant feeding. So SL would have allowed sitting and feeding more easily.

Can anyone guide and help what should be done here?
