Arunachala~ 402 blog postsI think, this train is also meant for Rameswaram and will go up to the same when pamban bridge is completed. TT of 16733(RMM-OKHA via KRR, SA,KPD) & this 09519 (MDU-OKHA via ,TPJ,VM,TNM,KPD) shares almost the same slot from KPD.
This decision might be taken to avoid SM complications and other PF issues at RMD/MNM. SM travel(RMD/MNM-MDU) also not needed as the train is terminating at MDU itself. If this is true, Overall, a good planning from SR ensuring western region connectivity to majority of TN as existing 16733...
