been developed with major Sized depot with all Facilities in BZA division

At present #Kakinada coaching depot holding 262 CBC / LHB Coaches for primary Maintenance

1. Seshadri EXP 4 Rakes with 92 CBC Stock
2. Gouthami SF 2 Rakes with 44 LHB Stock
3. Cocanada SF/ TOD Special with 2 Rakes with 44 LHB Stock
4. COA- LTT EXP 1 Rake with 20 LHB Stock
5. COA- SNSI EXP 1 Rake with 20 LHB Stock
6.COA- BVC / SNSI 1 Rake with 20 LHB Stock
7. One Full length ( 22) CBC/ LHB rake available at Depot for Spare purpose

Note: Gouthami SF RSA with Devagiri EXP once confirmed means another 2 Rakes with 44 LHB Stock will be added into Depot & Holding Capacity will be increase 306 Coaches

Depot Organization :

The depot headed by ADME, SSE / C&W
Supported By 8 SSE For Rake Maintenance Sick line Activities & Linen Management

The depot holding 400 Regular employees & 150 Out sourcing Employees are working Round the clock

Freight :
This depot undertakes goods examination of various types, like Premium and End to end BPC on average 5 trains per day

Infrastructure : Many facilities are developed in this depot for effective maintenance of trains. There are Full length 3 Pit lines to Accommodate 24/ 22 Coaches facilitating examination of under gear of trains round the clock Automatic Coaching washing plant installed for Pitline 1 & 2

Pitline 2 Camtech Design on Road - 10 ( 26/24)
Pitline 3 RDSO Design on Road -11 ( 26/24)

As on date Coaching depot having 3 Stable lines 2 Stable lines are Under Construction.

Recently Yard remodelling & Automatic interlocking system, Electrification works for 3 pitlines works are going on

GOWTHAMI EXP to run with dedicated rake with Existing CC Itself and the permission for 23 Coaches is been declined as of now
the reason for reduction of berths in SL is quota Adjustment to 10SL as the train got LHB before ARP, Now the quota is adjusted no further change is done the CC from june 5th is same as existing itself

Narayanadri Exp to Continue its RSA with Devagiri exp as the bookings of Devagiri exp are opened completely from 05/06/2024 in both the directions as per its existing CC itself for 21 coaches

now the only source for Maintaining the narayanadri exp punctuality is just by making devagiri exp depart from CSMT atleast 4hrs before of existing TT
