The long felt demand of local people of Jenapur is going to be fulfilled soon. East Coast Railway has decided for the stoppage of Train No.58426/58425 Bhubaneswar-Kendujhargarh-Bhubaneswar Fast Passenger at Jenapur Railway Station on an experimental basis for a period of 06 months w.e.f. 26.01.2019.

If somehow this train's arrival at Bhubaneswar could be made earlier like at about 4:15pm-4.30pm, then it will act as perfect linking up train for North coastal Odisha people as they can easily catch the 5:10pm departure BBS-Bangriposi SF express. Many people from the North Coastal odisha regions like Balasore, Bhadrak, Jaipur, Keonjhar, Baripada take this train to travel from Pune/Hyderabad. People will be able to take BBS-Bangriposi SF or Puri-SBP Intercity or even if possible Kendujhar region people could take the BBS-Keonjhar MEMU.

As per the directions of Ministry of Railways, East Coast Railway has decided to instal monumental flags in Stations at different district headquarters and tourist importance Stations to improve aesthetics of Railway Stations a well as to impart a sense of Nationalism and patriotism among Indian Railways passengers.
East Coast Railway (ECoR) is all set to instal National Flags atop 100 feet tall poles at 26 Stations over its jurisdiction in the current financial year. These Stations are located at district headquarters, historical & tourist importance Stations.
