This station is notable for being the heritage/religious site of Naimisharanya. It lies on the CNB-Sitapur branch line. Only two trains ply daily. The mps is quite low. On the plus side, the Gomti river also flows relatively close to the station and the water here is a still blue compared to the polluted one in Lucknow.
