The empty stations of NER. These three stations, after Burhwal [from where the line to Sitapur cuts off] see no train stopping at them [ atleast not scheduled ones]. NER isn't the best at running passenger services even from big stations and these have remained defunct for normal passengers ever since covid. Previously, a LJN-GKP Passenger via loop line used to run but it has stopped for past 3 years atleast.

I wonder if an UP/DN EMU train to Gonda should atleast be run through these stations from LJN. Even if...

Images from the ICE. At Lucknow, we xinged with FIVE trains at five stations.Avadh Express at Gomti Nagar, Amrapali at BNZ[due to which our train came at second unbuild platform], a passenger at Daliganj, Vaishali at LC and Sampark Kranti at Aishbagh. And all this because there is no double line section for ten kms.
