In recent times, Rajgir is setting a new record of tourist footfall by each passing year.This data is for Jan - sept 2023 (excluding Purushottam Maas mela) and 3 months data is yet to come. High footfall expected in Nov - Dec as peak tourist season will start now.Even after all these, Rajgir is lagging behind in rail connectivity. Has one of the worst rail connectivity in India.Desperately needs a decent rail connectivity.. atleast within Bihar - Jharkhand - Bengal area.
