North Central Railway will be the nodal agency for the Kumbh Mela, with a dedicated CCTV control room at Prayagraj Junction. This control room will be integrated with the Mela's control command center and the CCTV control rooms of the district administration, traffic police, and regular police.

Lucknow SM Sharma, the GM emphasized that the buildings of both stations must be completed by November. The GM and the DRM Lucknow arrived at Prayag Junction around 1:30 PM from Lucknow on a special train. They inspected Phaphamau station, which is being developed as an Amrit Bharat station, before arriving at Prayag Junction.
