The 87-year-old meter gauge train service in Amet, Rajasthan, has been discontinued. The town residents bid farewell to the train's loco pilot and ticket collector by garlanding them. The change is due to the transition to broad gauge trains, a long-awaited upgrade.
Amet me 87 saal se chalne wali train ka safar khatam ho gaya. Town wale logon ne train ke loco pilot aur ticket collector ko mala pahna kar vida kiya. Bohot time se meter gauge ki jagah broad gauge train aane ki baat chal rahi thi.
