The Howrah-Mumbai Mail was halted at Ghatsila, while the Shalimar-Kurla Express was stopped further on at Chakradharpur. Train operations resumed at 10 km/h with horns after the elephants were driven off the tracks by forest department staff. Raat 11:30 baje ke baad, forest department ke staff ne hathyon ko track se khdedne ke baad, railway ne 10 km/h ki raftar se horns ke saath trains ka chalna shuru karne ka aadesh jaari kiya. Yaad rakhiye, kuchh din pehle, ishi jagah par, ek malgadi ke saath hathi ke bachche ki maut ho gayi thi, aur ek aur bachcha ghayal ho gaya tha.
