A The Indian Railways has awarded the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts for electrification of Delhi-Sarai Rohilla-Rewari and Alwar-Bandikui-Jaipur-Phulera-Ajmer 353km section to Larsen & Toubro (L&T). The contract is worth Rs594 crore. The Railways will undertake the electrification work of Ringas-Jaipur- Sawai Madhopur 188km stretch through its own undertaking Rail India Techno Economic Service (RITES) at a cost of Rs163.73 crore.
Thus Rs757.73 crore will be spent in electrification in North Western Railway in the coming years. The electrification of Delhi-Sarai Rohilla-Rewari and Alwar-Bandikui-Jaipur-Phulera and Ajmer and Ringas -Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur section once completed will improve the efficiency of movement with the faster electric locomotives replacing the diesel-driven engines.

Yes, Sawai Madhopur to Jaipur is such that trains coming from east side (Agra) directly go to Jaipur, since Agra-Bharatpur-Bandikui was a metre gauge back then. Now, Railways should introduce a new station OR another connection towards Sawai Madhopur from North side. After Electrification, there is no need for reversal. But, Sawai Madhopur has been an important station on this route. So, bypassing SWM won't do good for SWM public.
Well, Railways is considering doubling of JP-SWM and demand from local leaders is huge. As of now, Updating Survey is going on this route for doubling as the first unit of INR 2 lacs has been alloted in this budget (Total: 19.5 Lacs for the survey).
This is only a survey. Iam sure when they calculate ROR after survey it would be negative and they would have to shelve it..
No one is suggesting for shifting of all trains to a new bypass line. Some fast trains like Duronto can be tried. Just like it is followed at VSKP.

SWM aaj all India se connected h lekin agar Byepass bana to ye connectes buri tarah toot jaega. North south ke alawa koi connectivity nahi bachegi hamare pas.
Agar aapke station se 1 train bhi hata do to socho aapko kitna bura lagega aur poore SWM se 30% train hat jaengi. Aur hum aisa to hone nahi denge .aur mujhe pata h ki hamare leader hamre sath h.

Second, since you have your views, let me tell you mine. Any kind of disruption of public services thereby causing harm to substantially large number of people just for the demands (in the name of rights) of a section of people, is not at all ethical given the reasons and "haq" is fundamentally flawed. Since, you have clarified that you support your leaders like Mr Kirodilal Meena, who has played important role in the past for blocking Delhi-Mumbai route completely, it is sad to see youngsters justifying acts of such leaders whose provocations and actions in
