Yes mangoes are exported, but atleast here we get to eat good quality Ratnagiri and Deogad Alphonso (Haapus) Mangoes.
Usually depends on the time of train arrival...I have noticed them at stations though rarely... The main city market is the ideal place...
Visit the famous Ganpati Shrine at Ganpati Phule situated at the base of a hill. The idol is said to be a swambhu and the beauty adds by the seashore lining nearby.
pls specify the fact that it will take minimum of 1 hr from Ratnagiri station to Ganpatipule one way! Then of course time spent in queue at temple is another story...
