pollachi and take a bus u can reach cbe by 8 30. totally 4.5 hrs! try it

train takes 3 hrs from madurai to pollachi via the most scenic route u will love it.and reaches at
from pollachi u can go to Bus stand near it and take a bus to cbe..

Trust me this is one of the fastest ways to reach coimbatore, noone uses it..








suggestion to IR:
Sadly no trains from Pollachi to Cbe in this time altho the evening train from CBE to Pollachi comes at this time only, but they dont operate in reverse direction... if they start operating as a shuttle from pollachi to cbe in reverse direction, it will be great and passengers can use it very well

Alight here for visiting the Parambikulam national park. Situated in Palghat district of Kerala, the approach to the park lies only from Pollachi side.
Located 35 kms from Pollachi, via Anamalai, Sethumadai and Top slip. 2 wheelers are not allowed Post Sethumadai and the door to Top slip is opened only at 7AM and closes at 6PM

operates 2 schedules from Pollachi to Parambikulam at 6:45 and 1545 while KSRTC (Kerala) operates a single schedule from Palghat via Pollachi at 945AM. Return, the buses leave Parambikulam village at 845, 1230 and 17750 hrs
The forest office is located at entrance to the forest while Parambikulam village is 25 kms from Forest checkpost. Safaris are conducted by forest dept
If you are staying in forest for night, better to take your own vehicle and stay. for single day trip, you can rely on the bus services. The safari takes 3 hrs round trip and spottings are good
Food is available but limited . Milk is not available and its generally black tea or coffee
