NOTE : Take the token by placing your left hand on sensor at entry gate otherwise you won't be entertained at counter.

Looking for a place for night stay in Ahmedabad and retiring rooms not available? No problem, you will find all types of accomodation for all budgets near the station. After exiting the station platforms, move towards right through the parking and exit via the entry gate of Ahmedabad station. Cross the road and you will be on relief road /Revdi bazaar. Relief road has many dormitories and hotels starting from as low as 150 rs. You can get a decent single non ac room in around 400 rs and ac rooms in around 600 - 700 rs. A better hotel with better rooms would cost you around 1000-1200, double bed AC. Some hotels have 24 hr checkout and some have fix timings like 9am or 10 am or so. I stayed in Hotel Kinara Inn. A good connectivity for GIMB Passengers to BAM/CAP/PVP/BALU/VZM
A.Problems--
1. Huge slacks given in some sections (especially SIOB-VG and WR-NGP).
2. Is a weekly train with OK timings at Ahemdabad.

tougher than 12993 as it has good timings at almost all major stations in Up/down direction.
B. Advantages-
1. Cleanliness and punctuality are top class. In particular cleanliness has improved by a thousand times after conversion to SF.
2. If travelling from BRC/ST to BAM/CAP/PVP/BALU/VZM then this train should be the first preference.
3. Coaches are newly made (2A is 2007 made)
4. E-Catering avaliable.
5. Punctuality is superb. Never runs late by more than 30 mins
C.tips--
1. Opt this train from BRC/ST to PVP/BAM/CAP/BALU/VZM as I have found less cleanliness in 12843 Ahemdabad-Puri SF Express
2. If travelling to NGP/R then book tickets only in 12993 as this train is meant for GIMB/ADI/BRC/ST passengers to BAM/CAP/PVP etc.
3. Book tickets in ARP as ticket availability is too tough (especially from BRC/ST).
