⏺️22640 - Alappuzha - Chennai Express scheduled to leave Alappuzha on 19.08.2018 is partially cancelled between Alappuzha and Coimbatore. The service will commence from Coimbatore at 22.10 hours on 19.08.2018
⏺️Coach S7 is de-reserved between Alappuzha and Palakkad Junction
⏺️From 16th July 2018, Train No 22640 Alappuzha – Chennai Central superfast express will operate with one additional sleeper class coach in lieu of one general second class coach
⏺️The revised composition of the trains will be AC 2-tier – 2, AC 3-tier – 4, Sleeper Class – 13, General Second Class – 2 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2coaches
